Marka has lived and worked in Bedford for the past 11 years involved in voluntary and statutory support work, he has studied 'Person centred" Counselling and currently works supporting those with Drug and Alcohol problems.
He believes in social and personal equality and became involved with JustUs from its inception due to friendship and shared beliefs of trying to change and eliminate the difficulties faced by those in poverty and experiencing homelessness or any forms of social injustice.
Marka cycles everywhere , does not have a TV and reads far too many books and graphic novels (comics). His main beliefs can be simply summed up by an album heard while a teenager
°Strive to survive causing least suffering possible".
He is still learning always.
