At JustUs, our team of 4 caseworkers have a wealth of knowledge, experience, qualifications, and training. JustUs is lucky to have caseworkers who have a wide range of skills that come from a variety of backgrounds.
Between them, they have decades of employment history within the homelessness and wider sectors. Years of lived experiences between them too, of complex issues such as, homelessness, mental health, and substance use. They also have experience in management, data protection, education, disabilities, childhood social justice, education and context for inclusion, child protection and project managing.
Just some of the amazing things our caseworkers have been a part of; Setting up a small charitable alcohol abstinence group, sitting on the committee producing NICE guidelines, Sub-Regional Lead in Bedfordshire’s ‘No Second Night Out’ initiative, chairing the local multi-agency rough sleeper panel and sitting on the Supported Housing Forum executive committee.
With a huge number of complaints made to several Local Authorities, Local Government Ombudsman investigations, reporting data breaches to The Information Commissioner, compensation regularly being paid to our clients, valued Campaigning, and delivering accredited Homelessness Law Training across the country, as well as delivering training around the Care Act, Substance Use, Domestic Abuse, Challenging Council Decisions and Psychologically Informed Environments across the country, JustUs is committed to not just housing people, but sharing our knowledge around Homelessness Law to other professionals, and most importantly advocating for those so they can get what they are legally entitled to.
At JustUs we believe that there is only one route out of homelessness and that is, quite obviously by housing people.
