Homelessness Law: The Key to Ending Homelessness

JustUs Homelessness Advocacy Bedford is delighted to be supporting the Bedford Homelessness Awareness Week.

One of our trustees, Araba Taylor, will be chairing an information session, over delicious mulled wine and mince pies, covering what the law is and how it is being used to help homeless people in Bedford.

There will be a Q&A panel session after Araba’s presentation where participants will be able to find out from caseworkers and Councillors about those affected by homelessness in Bedford and the ways in which JustUs and other agencies can quickly support homeless people into long-term accommodation.

Araba is a barrister, who began practising in the field of homelessness law in 1993 and has been involved with homeless charities here and in London for many years.

The event is free of charge, with a retiring collection in support of JustUs.

We regret that, due to the short timescales of setting the event up, we were not able to secure a venue with wheelchair access. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
